What is a PRE-WEDDING SESSION?
A pre-wedding photo shoot is a session that usually takes place a few weeks to a month before the wedding, capturing intimate and meaningful moments in a more laid-back setting than the wedding day itself.
You’ll be photographed in everyday clothes (not wedding outfits), in a meaningful or scenic location, giving space to your connection and all the emotions you feel as you look forward to the day you’ll officially seal your love.
Choosing the same photographer who will accompany you on your wedding day for this kind of shoot is a great idea, it helps both you and your partner:
- Feel more confident in front of the camera, so you’ll be completely at ease when it’s time for the big day.
- Enjoy a beautiful shared experience you’ll treasure for years to come, and maybe even share one day with your children or loved ones.
- – Enrich your wedding story by including pre-wedding images in your wedding album.
It’s also an opportunity for me, as your photographer, to understand your dynamic as a couple, how you move, how you interact, and find the best ways to make you feel at ease and capture natural, authentic images.
What happens during the PRE-WEDDING PHOTO SHOOT?
Every pre-wedding session starts with a conversation: I’ll help you choose the perfect location, a place that feels right for you and your story.
Once we’ve picked a day and location, I’ll be available to give you extra tips, like the best time for perfect light, outfit suggestions, and those little details that make your photos truly personal.
We’ll meet at the chosen location, and I’ll be with you for as long as needed to create a meaningful and relaxed photo session that reflects your bond. The shoot usually lasts about one hour, but timing may vary depending on your needs.
After the shoot, I select the best shots and carefully edit them, enhancing your expressions and the emotions you shared in that moment.
