How a POST-WEDDING shoot works
Post-wedding photos, often referred to as a “trash the dress” session, are taken a few days, weeks, or even months after the wedding.
This kind of shoot lets the couple step into a completely different atmosphere and experiment with settings, poses, and styles that would be unthinkable on the actual wedding day.
A post-wedding photo session gives you the chance to create images that:
- Are taken in locations that couldn’t be reached on the wedding day, usually because they were too far from the ceremony or reception venue. This opens the door to scenic or symbolic places like the seaside, the mountains, or the heart of a city.
- Capture moments that might ruin your wedding outfits (hence the term “trash the dress”). For instance, you might dive into the ocean or lie down in a square or a field.
- Are highly creative, photos that simply wouldn’t be doable on the wedding day due to time constraints or the need for special equipment that wouldn’t work in a traditional setting. It’s your chance to push the boundaries and add a unique, unforgettable touch to your wedding story.
What to expect from a POST-WEDDING shoot
I’ll bring all my experience to the table to create a post-wedding shoot that reflects your personalities, your dreams, and the unique style of your wedding day.
I can help you find the perfect location and choose the right time of day to capture breathtaking, one-of-a-kind shots.
On the day of the shoot, we’ll meet at the chosen location, and I’ll guide you through an experience that’s both fun and meaningful, giving you the chance to relive the magic of your wedding in a completely new setting.
I’ll take care of everything: from capturing the images to carefully selecting and editing them. The final result will be a collection of unique photos that can also become part of your wedding album.
